Writing Begins
- Have your Introductory Paper ready to hand in
- Don't forget a writing utensil and your journal/notebook
- Bring books only if it is listed here on the site or if announced during class
We discussed how we have all written in the past (high school) and the ways in which we pre-write. 1) journaling 2) Free-writing 3) Clustering
We also talked about ways in which to get ideas: brainstorming, free-writing, groups, lists, reading...
We then discussed why we would write in a workshop environment and what we expected from others in the class.
