Today we wil be working in the workshops.

Bring in your group papers and your own. If you were not here for Wednesday to hand out copies of your own paper, please bring them today as the workshop can still help you.

Also, journals will be checked today - not graded as of yet, but checked for the participation part of your grade.

If you were absent today, copies of your rough draft can be found in a box outside my office door. Your group copies are to be collected on your own time before or after class from your group members.

As a reminder - Absenses cleared beforehand will be the only days excused. As this is a workshop classroom, being absent on important days such as todays workshop will highly affect your grade. There is no way to make up the lost days. please read the absence policy in the class syllabus to clear any questions.

Today is paper hand-out day - make sure you have brought 4 copies of your paper. 1 is kept for yourself, 1 to me (instructor) and 2 to your other group members.

Make sure to write in margins and give feedback - also fill out the small paper (questions) and have it stapled to the back of your group members' papers.

Today we wil begin working on rough drafts of your chosen topic.
On Friday, we worked on the list of 35 (The Lucky #35) possible topics in your journals and hopefully found a single one you could work with (pg. 29 as reference) . I also handed out the Memory Paper assignment sheet and the Format page.
Please have the summary (using pg 31 for help if needed) of what you would like your paper to be about (1/2-1 page handwritten in journal) so we may work with this today. No need to bring book.
